Compton open for limited flying from 20th May

After nearly two months of downtime, the Department of Transport has recently declared that limited flying can take place. As a result we are enabling our resident aircraft to fly next week, as well as accepting visiting aircraft from other airfields. Flights will be limited in number so that we can observe the social distancing measures laid out by the Government. We will of course be asking everyone to abide by the noise abatement detail and we will be operating initially with reduced hours.

We have detailed guidance and rules for visiting the airfield, and at present can only accept those who have aircraft based at the airfield and pilots flying in from elsewhere (not abroad). We will remain closed to the general public until we reopen the cafe in some capacity. We will keep you updated on our website and social media channels.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the airfield in due course and will update our opening times in due course.

PILOTS: Flying in its strictly PPR. Please email us on fly@abbasair.com if you wish to come in.
